How our recruitment process works
Every search starts with a proper conversation about the role: what the job actually involves day to day, who the person will work with, what has and has not worked before, and what success looks like at three and twelve months. That briefing shapes everything that follows, and it is why our shortlists are short.
We then search our own network, advertise where it makes sense, and approach people directly for harder-to-fill roles. Every candidate we put forward has been interviewed by us, has had the role explained honestly, and has confirmed they want to be considered. You receive a small shortlist with a note on each person explaining why we think they fit and anything you should know.
We arrange interviews around your diary, brief candidates properly beforehand, gather feedback promptly afterwards, and manage the offer, notice period and start date so nothing falls through the cracks. After the start we check in with both sides.
Permanent recruitment
Most of our work is permanent placement across Dublin and the surrounding counties. Typical roles include office administrators, accounts and finance staff, sales executives, customer service teams, chefs and hospitality managers, warehouse supervisors, electricians and solar PV installers. If the role is not on that list, ask; thirty years of collective experience covers a lot of ground.
Contract and fixed-term recruitment
For maternity cover, project work or fixed-term contracts of three months and upward, we recruit on the same basis as permanent roles: met, vetted and briefed. For short-notice or day-rate temporary staff in catering, hospitality, warehouse and events, our sister platform Find A Temp lets you browse and request vetted temps in Dublin directly.
Our fees
We charge one placement fee, agreed with you in writing before we start work, and payable only when your new hire starts. There are no retainers, no advertising charges and no admin extras. Every placement comes with a rebate period, so if it does not work out in the early weeks you are protected.
A percentage of that fee is donated to a charity chosen by the person you hire. It costs you nothing extra and it means every placement does some good beyond the hire itself.
Why employers choose an independent agency
You deal with one person from the first call to the first day, and that person is the founder. There is no handover to a junior consultant, no target-driven pressure to fill a role with whoever is available, and no surprises. We are licensed by the Workplace Relations Commission (Employment Agency licence EA4386), fully GDPR compliant, and flexible enough to work in the evenings or at weekends if that is when you have time.
- One experienced recruiter for the whole process
- Short, vetted shortlists with honest notes
- Single agreed fee, paid on start, with rebate period
- Charity donation with every placement
- Licensed employment agency, EA4386
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to fill a role?
For most office, sales and hospitality roles we aim to have a shortlist with you within one to two weeks. Specialist technical roles can take longer, and we will tell you that upfront rather than over-promise.
Do you recruit outside Dublin?
Yes. Most of our clients are in Dublin, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow, and we recruit nationwide for specialist roles, particularly in renewables and engineering.
What if the person leaves in the first few weeks?
Every placement includes a rebate period. If the candidate leaves or is let go during that period, you receive a partial refund on a sliding scale, or a free replacement search. The exact terms are in our written agreement.
