Meet Gerard Grimes, founder
I set up Real People Recruitment because I was tired of watching good candidates and good employers get lost in a numbers game. Too many agencies measure success in CVs sent rather than people placed and still happy a year later. I wanted to build something smaller, more personal and more honest.
When you work with us, you work with me. I take the brief, I meet the candidates, I do the interview preparation and I make the calls, including the awkward ones. I work flexibly, so clients and candidates can engage with me how and when it suits them, in or outside office hours.
I also founded Find A Temp, Dublin's marketplace for vetted temporary staff, so if your need is short-term or last-minute I can usually help with that too.
How we work
We keep the process simple, we keep our word and we keep in touch. Employers get short, vetted shortlists and one point of contact. Candidates get honest information, proper preparation and control over where their CV goes. Everyone gets a straight answer, quickly.
